Off-grid modular buildings are a rapidly growing segment of the housing market, offering a sustainable and affordable solution for those seeking an alternative to traditional homes. These buildings are typically powered by solar panel systems, making solar panel performance monitoring and control a critical aspect of their operation. Effective performance monitoring and control can help maximise the efficiency and output of solar panel systems, reducing maintenance costs and downtime while increasing the integration with other renewable energy sources and energy management systems. The scope of this project is to develop an intelligent solar panel performance monitoring and control system for off-grid modular buildings. The proposed system will incorporate a range of sensors and algorithms for data acquisition, performance analysis, and performance optimisation.
